The Youth & Young Adult Ministries Director has one of the largest constituencies of ministry leaders in the conference. They can shape how the next generation of church members view their church and conference. The Youth & Young Adult Director helps form the perception that the young people in the conference have of their leaders, whether that perception is one of leaders that care about them or a bunch of old people who really don’t care and are therefore irrelevant to them.

Therefore, it is important for Youth & Young Adult Ministries Directors to work closely with their Conference President, Executive Secretary, and Treasurer so that the ministries they lead correspond to and support the overall mission and message of the conference administration.
